Tagpunch is a fire equipment service record app published by Shahrad Azeri Sharghi. This policy explains what the Android app stores, when information can leave your device, and how to contact us.
Information you enter
You may enter customer and site names, site addresses, equipment details, inspection dates and results, notes, deficiency descriptions, a technician name used as a signature, and photographs you select. The app uses this information to keep unit records, show due work, and generate inspection reports.
These records are stored in the app's private storage on your device. Tagpunch does not automatically upload inspection records, photographs, signatures, or reports to us or to a cloud service. The app does not request device location or camera permission; addresses are entered by you, and photographs are chosen with the Android file picker.
Google Play subscriptions
If you use Pro, Google Play handles the purchase and payment. Tagpunch sends the purchase token and product ID to our verification service hosted on Cloudflare, which checks the subscription with the Google Play Developer API. We do not send customer, site, inspection, photo, signature, or report content with that request. The app caches the token and plan status locally; our verification service does not keep a purchase-token database. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google Play's handling of purchase information is governed by Google's privacy policy.
Sharing and diagnostics
A report leaves the app only when you choose to share its PDF through Android's share sheet. The receiving app or person then controls the copy you shared. Tagpunch does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not send crash reports to us. A limited crash record may be saved on your device to help diagnose a failure.
Storage, retention, and deletion
The app keeps local records while it remains installed. To remove all Tagpunch data stored by the app on a device, use Android's “Clear storage” control for Tagpunch or uninstall the app. Android backup and device transfer of the app's private data are disabled, so cleared or uninstalled records may not be recoverable. Copies you have shared or saved outside the app must be managed separately.
App-private storage and Android's application sandbox limit access by other apps. The app blocks unencrypted network connections. No storage method is an absolute guarantee of security; protect access to your device and keep Android updated.
This policy page
This page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and the purchase-verification service runs on Cloudflare Workers. We do not add a contact form or analytics script to this page. Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect these services under its privacy policy. Visiting this page does not upload your Tagpunch inspection records.
Changes and contact
If Tagpunch's data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date. For privacy questions, contact Shahrad Azeri Sharghi at azerish25@gmail.com. Because service records stay on your device, we cannot remotely view or delete them for you.
